Abigail Child

Abigail Child is a filmmaker and writer with more than thirty film/video works and installations, as well as five books of poetry and one of criticism. An acknowledged pioneer in montage, Child addresses the interplay between sound and image, creating “vibrant political filmmaking attentive to form.” Winner of the Rome Prize, Radcliffe Institute, Guggenheim and Fulbright Fellowships, as well as numerous retrospectives and solo shows worldwide.
