HIGHLIGHT III: Ways of Seeing/Ways of Something by Johanna Gosse

“Ways of Seeing After the Internet” is published in Millennium Film Journal (Spring 2018). In the essay, Johanna Gosse discusses “Ways of Seeing,” John Berger’s influential 1967 BBC series about classical western art and its ideologies, and also Lorna Mills’ crowd-sourced series of videos “Ways of Something,” produced in 2015 as a response to “Ways of Seeing.” MFJ Highlight III includes segments of both works, as well as Professor Gosse’s insightful analyses and critique.
