J. Ronald Green

Ron Green is Professor Emeritus of Film Studies in the Department of History of Art and the Program in Film Studies at Ohio State University. His books include Straight Lick: The Cinema of Oscar Micheaux, and With a Crooked Stick─The Films of Oscar Micheaux. Essays on the film/video loop have appeared in Millennium Film Journal and Senses of Cinema. Recent articles have appeared on Oscar Micheaux, Straub/Huillet, Christoph Girardet, Roger Beebe, Michael Snow, Teresa Hubbard/Alex Birchler, Jacob Holdt, Bruce McClure, Ann Hamilton, and others.
