Eli Horwatt is Visiting Assistant Professor of Film and Media Studies at Colgate University. His research examines the legacy of institutional critique in cinema exhibition, film curation, and theater architectures. He has curated and programmed for the Wavelengths section at the Toronto International Film Festival, Hot Docs International Documentary Festival, Trinity Square Video, and the curatorial collective Pleasure Dome.
